| Haitong Guan Photography|

Haitong Guan was born in 1971 in Shanghai. After studying graphic design in his hometown, he moved to Beijing in 1995 and worked as a designer in the advertisement companies.

From a friend who working in China Geographic Institute, Haitong read his first National Geographic magazine in 1995 and was keen about it immediately. Following, the big exhibitions of the review of Marc Riboud's photography was given in Beijing in the spring

of 1997, Haitong was impacted by the power of photography and decided to become a
photographer. At the end of that year, Haitong arrived Netherlands as a foreign student.

1999, after some two years studies in photography Dept. of aki academy of visual art and design, Netherlands, Haitong embarked on a 70 days project - "Dutch Moments" which has been selected as a solo exhibition by Foto Festival Naarden, an international photography festival holding in 2001, the Netherlands.

Since back to Beijing, Haitong Guan has worked as a freelance photographer. His works has
recently been published in many chinese national magazines.
